Parmenter\u2019s key point is that not all metrics are KPIs. Real KPIs are non-financial, measured frequently, and tied to team actions.<br>The 12-step model for implementation is practical and detailed. It\u2019s not a one day fix, but it gives you a clear roadmap. I found it especially useful for structuring KPI tracking in software project I currentlty working on.<br>If you\u2019re in charge of performance at any level, this book helps you stop tracking what\u2019s easy and start measuring what matters.
